I've been seeing a lot of debate on the new GOP platform elsewhere, but there has been very little discussion of it here. Allegedly, the new platform was created almost entirely by the Trump-loyal parts of the RNC (Lara Trump, etc), with some claiming that it's essentially a Trump campaign ad more than a traditional party platform.

I have seen many complaints from cultural conservatives about two major differences from previous GOP platforms: the lack of a call for a nationwide abortion ban and the lack of an affirmation that marriage is between and man and a woman. Log Cabin Republicans, on the other hand, have praised the latter change. However, there has been much less discussion of the other parts of the platform, many of which I think are quite promising.
What do you think of the new platform?
