I think that we will be very surprised when and if we ever find out. I wouldn't be surprised if it is someone quite famous. Any guesses? My gut feeling is that it is someone who is supposed to be "dead":
JFK jr Tom Clancy (My No 1 choice) John McAfee
Any thoughts?
So God saved Trump, but the fire cheif died?
The fire chief is important to many people but he isn’t going to lead the people, is he? Perhaps he died to show you this wasn’t a hoax and that He is powerful and He has a plan using Trump. If no one had died it would seem staged and a way to level up Trump. Now anons and critical thinkers can discern this was indeed an assassination attempt. POTUS is insulated, he is protected by God and his arch angels, his Generals in the spiritual war
Trump is God's agent for now. Even King David finally died. The fire chief went to his reward...as do we all. We keep forgetting that the duration of our life on Earth, as precious as it may be to us, is a different matter when we are no longer of Earth.
My younger brother lost his life untimely, perhaps inevitably. I miss him, but hope to see him in a future life, when the pains of this life will be remembered no more.
That's a tough one to swallow.
So now we're playing some lives are greater than others?
Doesn't seem very godlike to me.
But let's fall back on Q. I believe, but if this is real and the hand of God intervened. Patriots aren't in control, it was left to god.
We're in a catch 22 here.
Not that anyone is greater than anyone else. According to God, He wishes all of us to be saved. And we know that all of us will die in the flesh. The rest is a matter of time, but life afterward is eternal. The message of Ecclesiastes is that we go from dust to dust, every single one of us. It is all the same. And I think we fool ourselves to ever say there is a "good" way to die. My brother certainly didn't expect to die so untimely, and it was by no means a "good" way to die (though it might have been merciful).
It's not our job to second-guess God, when the body wears out or is mortally damaged. Isn't much of it the consequence of sin in the world? We own it.
Ultimately, patriots are not in control. To say they are literally, is hubris. To turn it into semi-religious dogma is mindless. The attempted Trump assassination shows that, no, the "White Hats" were not in control---nor were the "Black Hats." We are marching in God's direction, according to God's bidding, but we are not in control.
It might help us to have a bit more humility, gratitude, and prayerful hope. I am wary of the pride-and-vengeance intoxication that shows up on this page sometimes. That's exactly the attitude which will lead to a fall, and turn an awakening into a nightmare.
