Very well put.

Most people want a simple happy life, our government can’t let that happen so the invent reasons to make them necessary.

Laws and regulations, taxes, licensing, all mechanisms to ensure the bureaucrats have work, even if it’s meaningless.

99% of government is pure BS, a Ponzi scheme for the unambitious and lazy civil servants.
