What certainly seems wrong now is that the people who want to immigrate legally, and are so showing at least the basic willingness to obey your laws, have a much harder time just getting the permission to go there in the first place, and seem to be monitored more strictly if they get in while waiting for their acceptance as worthy of becoming citizens, than the ones who just decide to cross your border and stay illegally.
...valid observation...
If your ancestors didn't build it, it's not yours. Plain and simple.
What JD Vance seems to be proposing is to go backwards to the period before the Civil Rights era and to re-insert ancestry as a condition for being an American.
Love that, ancestry is backwards, what else is it? Its not in the future is it? What is wrong with having ancestors who have been in the USA for 100's of years?
