The book had hard line commies as the baddies, the movie was changed to Nazis because communism had just fallen in Russia and they didn’t want to offend the Russian people by spiking the football. Makes you wonder if that was the real reason, Tom Clancy is Q after all. Just kidding, but that would be wicked awesome if he is and alive and well.
