The bullet speed was calculated around 900fps meaning the shot was likely made from atleast 200-400yds in my estimate which is consistent with .300blk subsonic fired from a suppressed rifle leaving the muzzle around 1050fps.
Not sure how much velocity a .300blk loses but a 150fps ballparks it further away than crooks who was in relatively close range, a range most basic trainees in the Army are expect to hit 9/10 times with a worn out M16 or M4.

300bk will certainly lose velocity faster than 223. Just look at the numbers on any two boxes.. Starting at SSv will only accentuate that.
