My daughter of 12 months of age, many years ago, when she was still unsteady on her feet learning to walk was with her brother in the mall toddling about with me a few feet away. They were playing and laughing when a very large man of color proceeded to pick up my daughter. The happy sounds stopped and I looked up to see him grab her as she walked about and her 6 yr old brother went limp and silent. I jumped up screamed and grabbed my daughter out of this man's hands. People looked in shock. When the man saw me jumping towards him he so innocently turned and sat down. No stranger, man or woman, pick up a child they do not know for no reason....She was not crying, she did not fall, she was happily playing with her brother.... Thank God my story had a happy ending..... Children are taken all the time, but why is it we know so little about these missing children?
