Frens - what is the mood of the normies you know at the moment? I have been out in the wild only twice since July 13, both times with normies.
DAY ONE: I spent a long day with a vaxxed friend with TDS, who doesn't know anything about my beliefs. Not once did she mention DJT, July 13, or the election. My interpretation (and I am speculating) - she wishes they had succeeded but is too diplomatic to say this out loud.
DAY TWO: I spent another long day with a vaxxed friend who knows where I stand politically, but claims to "not be political." He snapped at me when I mentioned DJT over coffee and, when I described myself as a "Trump woman," proceeded to have a hissy fit. Later in the day I mentioned how I was treated because I was unvaxxed, and had loved ones murdered by the bioweapon. His response? "That's all over now!" (as in nothing to see here).
Both stories are anecdotal, however, it feels to me like the normies have made ZERO PROGRESS in waking up.
Any field reports frens?
With individuals, often it's a case of drip ... drip ... flood of awareness.
But in general I see more flags and Trump signs than in 2016 or 2020, and they were very scarce in my deep blue part of Lost Angeles. A few weeks ago I saw a sidewalk pop-up stand selling Trump merchandise in Brentwood, which literally shocked me. So, more boldness is becoming apparent.
And I see a lot less Democrat signs than before. I like to think they're shying away from their presumption of popular support, but maybe they just can't keep up to date with the Biden - Kamala switcheroo.
But maskers are entrenched in their beliefs, and they're unashamed even as it becomes increasingly ridiculous. They seem to relish their small fraternity. I'm hoping the next DNC Kamala-to-NotKamala switch will call their bluff and make then fold. Let's see what happens.
Interesting report fren.
I wonder how many people in your area self-censor, rather than expose themselves to the risk of thuggery and ostracization that comes with openly supporting Trump, especially in a blue city.
Oh, most people self-censor. Talking politics is rude, doncha know? Most people don't even try until after engaging on easier things like the price of eggs. But I see that changing, bit by bit.
Here in Ireland, many people talk openly against Trump. They don't consider this rude (I do). It's like talking about the weather or the football match. They ASSUME everyone listening agrees with them.
The only ones who self-censor are pro-Trump conservatives.
That's where MSM puts a heavy thumb on the scale of public speech. It gives a sense of entitlement to whoever goes along with the current push.
Good to push back. I can feel the change here, but it's subjective.
Hope that feeling makes its way to your bonny shores soon.
