You guys realize that Wikipedia is open source, right? That the users are the ones making the edits? That anyone can edit it? Right?
Because I keep seeing comments like this that makes me think you guys have no idea how Wikipedia works. It's also the reason why everyone should take everything on Wikipedia with a grain of salt, not merely the things you don't agree with.
Scroll down to the bottom of that Wikipedia entry and it will have a blue bar with "last edited by". Click on that, read through it until you find the reason why someone edited information out. If you think they were wrong, edit it yourself.
I have to say that it's stuff like this that makes me wonder sometimes about how people view information sources, in general. It's like some knee jerk reaction that people have whenever reading something they don't like. They just go straight to "The left is controlling everything! Everyone is against us!"
It just reeks of victimhood mentality.
It's open source information. YOU have just as much ability to edit that page as anyone from the left does. Also, it doesn't inspire much confidence that people don't seem to understand how Wikipedia works in the first place. Just sayin'.
How many times has that happened to you and on which posts? I'd like to see some examples.
So none, then.
It would be just as easy for liberals to accuse Wikipedia of the exact same thing.
If you think it's something they do and they do it often, it would be easy to provide examples.
