I've got a solution. Looking at the map, the city can eminent domain about half a dozen wealthy, probably libtard-owned homes and palmsicle island, then build a road on the North side of MAL and a new causeway connecting to the mainland. Then traffic can bypass MAL and everyone's happy.

They'd pull something like that in an instant if they could justify it by "muh climate change" or some friendly developer wanted to grease their palms.
