I’m retired so it’s a side gig. But it’s not $50 an hour. it’s a set fee per day, I live in somebody else’s house for the duration of the pet sit.

I stay in some pretty nice houses, and generally it’s dogs that I care for. Once in a blue moon, it’s a cat sit. I just happen to be pet sitting two dogs within 3 miles of a home where a lady has a couple cats, so all they really need is check-in so I just do the check-in in the morning and the night. So it’s just extra money while I’m in the same area.

My best gig is pet sitting for family members and Kauai 2 to 3 times a year so I get to live there part time. 🌴🏝️
