Lowes is just a terrible chain altogether regardless of the accusation. At least home depots wood isn't warped every other piece and you have to pull the entire stack out to get one decent board.
I've actually had just the opposite experience. Couldn't find any pine at HD that wasn't warped or splintered. Went to Lowes and got perfect pieces without having to practically demolish the entire stack to find them.
Couldnt doubt that. The supplier means the most of it, and our lowes vs HD is a drastic comparison here. Lowes has very young pine but the HD is a bit more aged which is what you want, as old as you can get without getting too stiff. But with all the new neighborhoods being built I could say Lowes had at least par wood before all of it.
