Another video from Bright Insight about the Göpekli Tepe situation. Now Jimmy Corsetti, whose channel it is, got the attention of people in charge there for his first video, and got attacked for it. BTW, Corsetti speculates the site could be Noah's altar - Noah of the great flood, that is.

I think there are a couple videos on YT about this place & other similar sites around the world explaining that they are actually pagan sacrificial sites - including use of infants. I’ll try to find them and link them here.
That is not why they are hiding it. Plenty of other kid killers in history. This is 12,000 yrs ago. Amazing huge blocks cut & sculpted in amazing ways. With the infamous bags/man purses of Ancient Sumeria. That was deliberately buried. Most likely to save the Great Deluge or Younger Dryas event of 12,000 yrs ago. It's important
Always possible, but from what I have read about the archeological finds from the place, there hasn't been much of anything that would even confirm that they actually were used for rituals, much less built specifically for rituals, except the structures themselves and the carvings on the pillars. As there have not been any finds of smaller ritual object, although I think some fragments of bones were found in the material filling the structures, all seeming from adults between 20 to 50 years old, so it's possible there were at least something like later burials.
So, for now, it all seems to be mostly speculations, and there isn't really all that much to base those speculations on. Especially if nothing else will be dug out now.
Another really great person to follow is Ben van Kerkwyk on Uncharted X.
Guy looks at things from an engineering point of view and not only archeological. All his videos are full of a ton of great evidence for advanced ancient engineering (that the dynastic Egyptians basically graffitied their hieroglyphs over thousands of years later)
