Free Speech Group Says It Plans To Sue AZ City Over Arrest

A First Amendment group indicated plans to sue Surprise, Arizona, after its mayor had a resident arrested for speaking at a public meeting.

Lawsuits that violated civil rights need to start holding the individuals that violated the rights more accountable (financially). A “town” doesn’t make decisions, people do. Just think, if you sue your town and are awarded financial damages, you’re paying your own judgement.
