ANTI-LYNCHING LAW

In 2019 California Senator Kamala Harris and Jersey Senator Cory Booker tried to pass legislation against lynching.

On January 29, 2019, Jussie Smollett a black actor in the series Empire and a supporter of Kamala reported to the police he was attacked by white men who were aggressive and violent. They had roughed him up and poured bleach on him. They also tried to Lynch him but were unsuccessful.
