How about this: Those satellites are high enough to directly reflect the sun to the viewer at night. That's why they look like that.

I try to stay out of the belief paradigm as much as possible. If you believe in the bible then I guess you have to believe that there is a god who made the Earth and then put the stars in the sky as a night light for us. That's what it says! No lie.
