I get really frustrated with Trump and the conversations with inflation. My brother in Christ, it was you who signed the biggest stimulus package ever, and then bragged about it. I get that it had to happen for devolution, but it disproportionately affects the poorest amongst us. I’m very much with Skidder, I’m over this Babylonian money magic system and I long for a more God based approach to money. The Bible says usury should be illegal. I want a Halal mortgage.
I agree but I think actual government spending on American citizens is a drop in the bucket compared to the corruption that is bleeding us dry. Take care of the corruption and then with a more free economy, everyone will benefit.
I'd love a true Laissez-faire economy but there will be steps to get there.
It happened well before Nixon. Trading with the Enemy Act and Emergency Banking Act enter the chat.
said in a whisper: constitutional money is God’s money, which makes it biblical. (even quieter, God made gold and silver and like everything else in this world He created for us, we, collectively, traded it for an inferior synthetic man made replacement.)
I am starting to doubt that printing lots of money causes prices to increase that much directly. I think the prices are being manipulated to create the illusion of inflation by creating artificial shortages which causes or justifies raising prices.
