For non science folks, the paper seeks to create a simplified equation, which

1. handles both theoretical issues and multiple observational anomalies in physics.
2. Reduces the complexity of existing models from 10 constants down to 2 (well 3 tbh as c, speed of light, is in the mix for defining planck constants), creating a form of what might be seen as quantum coordinate geometry (spacial, temporal)
3. Multiple instances of this equation appears (and my math capability definitively and totally breaks down here to have a hope of proving this is the case) to derive the existing, more complex equations we have to describe quantum processes.
4. It proposes changes to our relative understanding of the universe in terms of mass and charge at the particle level. This is where shit gets really fucking wierd:

• An electron's charge and mass are NOT CONSTANT. As the universe expands, both decrease. This is breaking my fragile little mind as it makes sense but doesn't at the same time.
• Because this is the case for electrons, it is also the case for quarks, which would mean in effect all mass measurements are no longer a constant
• mass is now relative to the space it is measured in, be it a local solar system, a galaxy, or the universe as a whole. This makes the universe vastly harder to comprehend conceptually as it seriously messes with the head to think this could be true.

At that point my brain fried. If (and it is a big if) this equation is true, the sciences of Physics and chemistry at minimum will be undergoing a paradigm shift similar to this time 100 years ago. It will revolutionise the understanding we hold of reality.

It will change basically all the things with the standard model (which tbf is now badly broken), and make the field of geometry at least to a degree integral to our understanding of the universe. It also means that quantum mechanics (which aligns for me to how God does anything anywhere and everywhere) is most definitely usable to describe the macro as well as the micro.
