If we were "reborn" into other universes or other lives (reincarnation) etc., there would be no need for God to enter this world as Jesus Christ to sacrifice His life as payment for our sins, and redeem us. We would not need a Savior. So that is a lie, maybe a beautiful one, but a lie. Most lies are attractive to our carnal self.
