Not to get too mushy but I really appreciate everyone who's still going strong. I feel better about the world knowing there are still good, smart people paying attention. The future looks grim and uncertain right now in a lot of ways but I'm confident that with the right people, we'll be able to turn it around and build something brighter.

One of the things that picks me up when Iβm discouraged is going back and reading, or watching President Kennedyβs speeches. His speech about the state of the space race given at Rice University in 1962 perfectly captures the spirit and potential of the United States and its people.
I firmly believe the best is yet to come and we will revive that spirit he describes. Let me leave you with one of my favorite lines from that speech:

Always Think in terms of: What CAN I DO for mankind...
One of the mottos that I have lived by due to being in the military was: "That Others May Live"... meaning giving you're life for another to rescue or help in some way...or another...
Did you drive an F15? I used to love going to Bitburg and watching them fly.
I was Stationed AT Bitburg: ''71-'74!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When I was there it was F-4 Phantoms!!!!! AND Recon Plans!!!!\ππππππ
I was at Hahn from β84 to β88, went TDY to Bitburg and Spangdahlem a couple times. I loved my time in the Air Force, I especially miss the camaraderie, even after all these years.
