President Trump just said at the townhall - "We did leave the dogs behind. A lot people don't like it, but we left them behind." There has to be something with the dog comms with Trump?

Cats = independent or semi-affiliated actors, mercenaries or comms-aware "people" in general. BTW, general public are not "cats", they are "sheep". Dogs = affiliated actors, vassals, helpers.
They are eating cats and dogs - a massive cleanup is ongoing (either by BH or WH, but the tone of the message is that someone is panicking and everyone is being attacked indiscriminately). We did leave dogs behind - we had to abandon our own people.
