Eli like I’m 5 I haven’t been paying attention. First:Were there explosives in the pagers? Or were they just overheated to make the batteries explode?
Second: pagers…they still make them?
They are made in china, like everything else. The Israelis paid the chinese to let them “fix” the devices. There are a couple of ounces of Semtex in each device, just enough to blow off a hand or a face. In a pocket could cause fatal injuries.
It looks to me like Hamas / Hezbollah are being paid back in their own coin.
Yes. Pagers are mostly used by hospital personnel because they can operate in areas of extremely low cell phone reception when you need to get ahold of someone ASAP (say, medical emergency).
I also know a couple of families that gave their kids pagers because they didn't want the kids to have smartphone-induced brain rot, but still wanted to be able to get ahold of them.

Thanks for your time anon.

They were made under license in Hungary. So battery was easily swapped if not the entire pcb/ internals.
Remember these had to be made to pass a random inspection and make it through customs.
Just think that Isreal happily sent 5,000 mini bombs through airports and possibly on civilian flights.
Both sides are terrorists who will stop at nothing to kill each other.
Yep and the Israeli’s invented this kind of terrorism in the 1940s and the terrorist organization that is the US deep state has enabled it ever since.
Gracias
De nada, amig (I just made that up for fren en espanol!).
