I was on a walk with my dogs a few years back, when all of a sudden, they decided that we were going to the side of the road and into the woods. What they had alerted to was a dog that had its leg caught in a snare meant to catch the wild boar that inhabit this area. I was able to set the dog free and left it here to its own devices. A few weeks later I saw the same dog being walked by one of my neighbors. It was missing most of the leg that had got caught in the snare. Snares don’t discriminate.

Pagers and walkie-talkies DO discriminate, however, as they are carried by the very person being targeted. By military measures, this was a highly effective strike with only minimal collateral damage. I'm still in awe as to how precise this strike was.
