After thinking about this, they may be handling stage props... rubber riffles w/ fixed bayonets. But still, if you get used to handling props that way, you'll handle the real thing that way too. Or maybe the Wellington Barracks are just full of actors or guys doing side gigs... maybe? I don't know, but it's a rather telling bit of video.
Yeah, especially since it was either an official or fan channel. Makes them look like goof offs, nothing positive for their image, their CO will probably go through the roof when he sees it.
Or the CO could be a woman, in which case she will find it cute.
