To become a Mason, you must be related to one. My Grandfather was a Mason and my Grandmother was in Eastern Star. I grew up in a Masonic and Christian family. My father was a Master Mason, 32nd degree. My brother was in DeMolay, and my My sisters were both Honored Queens in Jobs Daughters. I'm the youngest, so I experienced a lot as a child. I was a rebel and almost was kicked out of Jobs Daughters. All of these are secret societies, but the public can attend installations. My experience was a wholesome one; community events, dinners, charities, etc. My father was an honorable business owner. He was charitable and would lend a helping hand to anyone.
