To become a Mason, you must be related to one. My Grandfather was a Mason and my Grandmother was in Eastern Star. I grew up in a Masonic and Christian family. My father was a Master Mason, 32nd degree. My brother was in DeMolay, and my My sisters were both Honored Queens in Jobs Daughters. I'm the youngest, so I experienced a lot as a child. I was a rebel and almost was kicked out of Jobs Daughters. All of these are secret societies, but the public can attend installations. My experience was a wholesome one; community events, dinners, charities, etc. My father was an honorable business owner. He was charitable and would lend a helping hand to anyone. I've done a lot of research the last few years, saw the xfaxtor guy, and the rest that connect Masons with the Illuminati. Supposedly, starting at the 33rd degree. In the Masonic Order there are only 32 and I can tell you the Illuminati, actors, musicians, etc. did not go through the process of the first 32 degrees.
It's interesting that you would say that there's only 32 degrees. Yes, I have always heard the 33rd degree is where all the shit they do are connected to Illuminati. Did not know that actors, musicians and politicians (I will add the politicians for you) did not need to go through the lower ranks. Make sense to me.
Thanks for adding the politicians! Totally hijacked the Masons IMO. It takes years to promote through the ranks. No way did they do that. I can say I've found some disturbing things. My Mom was a born again Christian in the 70's. Much later on I think she realized how Masons pledge allegiance to the Masonic Order over God, which they do. My father joined in the 40's. It's what you did back then.
I know they recruited at Harvard, Yale, and Stanford, UCLA also. Normally, they go thru those Greek clubs or recruit the ones who have the most potentials (of course, those who's parents are the rich and famous would do also). I think you are talking about those are the one who skipped the promotions.
Yes. I would agree. The average Mason in your local town isn't one of them. I believe the Illuminati is a Secret Society that hijacked another Secret Society, the Masons. And that there are different levels of knowledge in each.
I was told you need to be invited by a member, not necessarily be a family member.
Well, in the past you had to prove you were related to a Mason. I wouldn't doubt they've relaxed the requirements due to lack of newcomers to fill all the positions. 🤷🏻♀️
I’ve been invited by a member but I don’t want to join another organized group. Just seems like another commitment that I’m not ready for
Back in the 60's it was a good move; social and business connections, community service, etc. a networking avenue. There's a lodge in almost every town. But now, and with all the negativity regarding Masons, probably the right decision. It will consume all your time.
Horrible
And why do you say that? You didn't live my life.
Thankfully so. A family all initiated into secret societies definitely had the betterment of mankind in mind
You know nothing. They infiltrate! Geeze. Throw the baby out with the bath water.
Not true. My cousin was invited to join by an employee at his work site. No one in our family was ever a mason.
You are correct and I stand corrected; I asked a family member. New Mason members must be invited by a current member and go through an approval and initiation process.
It's these other organizations where you must be related.
Job's Daughters - for young women DeMolay - for young men Eastern Star - for adult women
I looked up how many organizations are affiliated with Masons and it blew my mind. So, I can't say if others require it.
Interestingly, I only experienced initiations of Masons in the public "ceremony", but I watched a video that included a closed initiation that was definitely weirdo ritualistic. I asked my BIL, he was a Master Mason too, if they actually did that, and he said yes.
