Even God has no clue what man by freedom of will is going to choose. If he did then he set up Adam to fail and that would be unloving and dark. God is light and love and there is no darkness in him at all. Also he isn't stupid, he needn't to have made Adam to begin with and being all powerful he could have skipped straight to giving everyone holy spirit. In fact, God claims the affairs of men are nothing to him.
Depends on your perspective. Arguably, God has foreknowledge of the entire history of the universe, and, therefore, our use of "free will" is predestined and elected before the beginning of time. Either way- the outcome can be predicted only by prayer, fasting, speaking in tongues and perhaps self-flagellation
