Holy Father, whilst typing these words in an early train to work, Matthew 18:6 comes to my mind: « But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea. ». In these times, a millstone was not easy to come by. It required a group of skilled specialists to extract, carve, then install. There was at most one per village. I believe what was meant was the whole community had to suffer from starving for indulging in one of its members to hurt a little one. The suggested punishment was to set a rule for the whole community as well as for its insane member. Fasting, and thus, starving, force the involved into focussing on moral solace as he lacks from the physical relief that food provides. So, maybe a revisited quote, which would apply today, would be « Shame on you for leaving your kids to people who are willing to use them for their own unholy pleasure instead of ensuring their right to blossom. Expell these from your numbers and repent. ». I praise You for these thoughts.
AGENDA
Today we celebrate Fermin.
According to the legend, a senator from Pamplona named Firmus was converted to Christianity by Honestus and persuaded Saturninus to come to Pamplona to baptise him. There the bishop preached to large crowds and baptised some 40,000 people over three days. Firmus's son, Firminus (Fermin), was entrusted to Honestus for his Christian education and at age 31 went to Toulouse to be consecrated by Saturninus's successor, Honoratus. Fermin then went to preach in northern Gaul, where he became associated with the city of Amiens. He was persecuted and ultimately martyred.

See you tomorrow, Frens!🤓
Wow and Amen. Excellent post.
Mary!🤗💐
It stroke me that way, that’s a very WWG1WGA verse: do together what we must to MAGA, no matter how soiled our hands get and how hungry we get.
I told George the other day that NO AMOUNT OF MONEY would ever change my mind or make me happy. I was born a poor girl and I will die one. I told him if worse got to worse, I would live in a mud hut somewhere before I sold my soul to these idiots. WWG1WGA
Count me in!🤗💐
