Corporations are motivated by profits, businesses exist for exactly ONE reason, to make a profit.

Follow the money. It's not good business to kill your customer.

Absolutely, they do this because it is CHEAPER. More profit. And then, of course, there are likely ties to the pharma/medical racket. More sick people = more profit across the board!
