On that note: It may even be the legal version of GHB, which is called GBL (gamma Butyrolactone). It has a very legitimate non drug purpose as an adhesive/sticker remover.
Maybe the feds/courts are calling it baby oil for the news because they don't want the general public to figure this out (especially since this is a super high profile case).
Or, maybe it was concealed in baby oil bottles in order to not draw attention... Maybe Ditty was thinking that if he ever got in trouble for having 1000 bottles of "sticker remover" with baby oil labels on it, it would be a lot easier for his lawyers to get him off on the technicality of legality.
Here is a little sauce:

When it hit the streets in San Diego like 20 years ago, GBL was known in the "the sauce". It was really popular in the Date rapey body builder community because of its potency which is significantly higher than GHB. Body builders would also use it (just like ghb) to get better muscle recovery while in their sleep because it makes you sleep so deeply.
P.S. GBL is very oily and could easily be mistaken for baby oil.
The bodybuilder rapey scene? Plus why is San Diego such a popular destination for muscle heads.
Yeah, its a real stereotype. Don't ask me why...
