Better question, can someone who knows how to code make our devices into mini-bombs by inserting an order in an update causing the batteries 🔋 to go off? Are these batteries lithium like EV batteries?
Possible yes, but it would have to be a state sponsored group. There's a lot of security on modern phones because people do finance and banking on them.
