FROM a programming point-of-view...YES...but to cause the battery to "explode" takes energy INTO THE BATTERY which means the phone will get HOT before the explosion...

NOTE: When the phone gets HOT 🧨 and HEATS UP is when the explosion occurs...a cell phone tower near by would be all that is needed to do this!!!!!!!
