I don't think that Israel needs U.S. Intel to inform them about Iran planning a massive attack.

Israel probably has the best spy network in the Middle East. They know when the Ayatollah changes his socks.

Meanwhile... if U.S. Intel KNOWS that Iran is planning a massive attack on Israel... why broadcast it to the entire world? If you know what an enemy is planning to do, then you have the advantage. All you accomplish by letting Iran know that Israel knows... is it revises Iran's plan.

I'm always suspicious of motive when someone in Intel informs the entire world about information that should obviously be kept classified. In this case, I think U.S. Intel would like the U.S., Britain and Israel to launch a pre-emptive attack on Iran (which then starts the war). Iran might choose not to attack Israel, or could delay any attack beyond the timetable the Deep State wants. In order to spur things along... justify a pre-emptive attack using US Intel.

It won't be the first time a major war in the Middle East has been started based on falsified intel.
