I thought Piglosi made it illegal after the steal? It has definitely been updated since to explicitly state that it's not allowed...

Whether she did or not is irrelevant. It’s imbedded in the Constitution and it takes more than a law to change it.

The link I provided is to "USC Title 3 Section 15. Section 15 of Title 3 of the United States Code, also known as the Electoral Count Act (ECA), outlines the procedures for counting electoral votes following a presidential election." It was changed last year so that the president of the senate is now just a figure head, but wasn't in effect for the 2020 steal.
