I believe we have food and water for a month, after that, who knows. If full-blown nuclear war happens, it won't matter.

It's either the plan succeeds, or it doesn't. The latter means it'll be up to us, but I still have faith we are moving in the right track.

It never hurts to be prepared for "plan B" either.
