I appreciate your reply, but I have a hard time seeing Ezekiel 36 as applying to Hexagram Israel today.
3 "Therefore prophesy and say, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Because they ravaged and crushed you from every side so that you became the possession of the rest of the nations and the object of people’s malicious talk and slander, "
The Antichrist Jews seem to be the opposite of that passage. They have ravaged and crushed the rest of the world, especially Christians, the true seed of Abraham. Also, most people are scared to even point out an open crimes committed by Jews, while Christians are constantly slandered and spoken of maliciously.
Right now, the Jews are living riotously on the wealth they have plundered from every nation.
If this passage does apply to physical Israel, I think it must apply to another time. Either when the Jews were in Babylon or some time in the future when things change.
I can't rule out that I am wrong, but that is what it seems like to me.
If you read Ezek 36, God brings them back into the land after scattering them throughout ALL nations. He also said He doesn't do it for their sake but He does it for HIS holy names sake---to prove He is God. God chose Israel to represent Him to the nations and they failed. He punished them but He does not forsake them forever. He is always bringing back a remnant to His land. Christians are not the true seed of Abraham, Christians are grafted in to the root which is Israel.
Rom.11: 16-18
This is where I got Christians being the seed of Abraham:
Galatians 3:28-29 "There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed and heirs according to the promise."
That is correct but this does not negate the actual seed of Abraham. If you read Romans 9-11 ---written by Paul inspired by the Holy Spirit, same one that wrote Galatians----you will see that God is not through with the Jews. When Jesus went into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday, when He presented Himself as King, the Jewish leadership rejected Him and Jesus said because they rejected Him that they would be blinded to His teachings. For how long? Paul tells us, "until the fullness of the Gentiles is complete"---this is the Church----after the Church, God will work with them once again. All through the Old Testament God calls Israel a rebellious people. It is because God has not given them the Holy Spirit. Christians have been given the Holy Spirit and can understand the Bible but the Jews cannot. Jews can read Isa 53 and never see Jesus in that chapter but the entire Bible is about Jesus. God even says the whole world will turn against Israel. Little Israel, smaller than New Jersey-----It is remarkable the the whole world is so concerned about Jerusalem---why not New York, Tokyo or Moscow? Jerusalem is a nothing city as far as commerce or wealth is concerned but Jerusalem is God's city according to the Bible. The world hates God therefore they hate anything God has staked claim to. Israel is God's land. Although He owns everything, He has put His Name there and He claims that as His own and will give it to whoever He wants to have it. It is an amazing story that we are going to witness in the next few year as the Bible prophesies are fulfilled before our eyes. Keep your eyes on Jerusalem because it is the key to Bible.
