US dockworker strike suspended until January 15, AP Source says

Union for 45,000 US dockworkers agree to suspend strike until Jan. 15 to provide time to negotiate new contract.

I agree. That mob boss wannabe derailed any leverage they had. That was a bad look for the Union and they read the tea leaves. They had no support. Hurricane disaster and he comes out and says “I’ll cripple you”! Bad move.
