The NPP strike is a Ukrainian rumor, as far as I can tell. IMO, do your own research.
Nothing on the Russian airwaves about a NPP strike in Russia. either they shot whatever it was out of the sky, and it is TOATS commonplace, because nothing happens if they say anything about it, so the story is not really newsworthy; or it didn't happen.
Neither do I see any usual suspect News like Al JAzeera or Hindustan Times, or Asian Times articles talking in hushed, scared WW3 tones.
Several Russian Telegram channels earlier reported the alleged Ukrainian attack, which they said had been thwarted by air defences but had resulted in a fire several miles from the nuclear plant.
[Insert credible source noises]
Lo!
Reuters could not independently confirm the reports. THEY ADMIT IT.
And then they start working on the narrative:
Ukrainian forces entered Kursk region in a surprise cross-border incursion on Aug. 6 and remain there (edit: forever) even as the Russian military tries to eject them (edit: by slaughtering the people they find hiding in the bushes, - oh and the invaders cannot escape or receive supplies).
I am going to repeat myself:

BUT:
Reuters (CIA) SAYS that Russia interce[ted a drone today (How do they know): https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/russia-intercepts-drone-near-kursk-no-damage-nuclear-plant-governor-says-2024-10-03/
Oh, what have we here?
[Insert credible source noises]
Lo!
And then they start working on the narrative:
Thanks! Appreciate the info
