I was skeptical with where Candace was going with this but I think toward the end I was swayed by her argument as she presented the information making her argument.

Truthfully in many cultures you call your elders you are close to aunts and uncles and an extension of a family.

But with the way these associations are unfolded in the book and thrown in like a laundry list it does come off as unauthentic. And as Candace says it seems that it was brain stormed in a board room conference by multiple people strategically.
