Yeah, something to ponder...
Does make you wonder how long its been going on. Could be all of human history
I'm a Christian, but I don't buy into the 5,000-year thing. I also don't buy into Homo Sapiens being here 200,000-300,000 years and only started building cities less than 10,000 years ago.
I know that I always tried to find a better way to do whatever task I was doing so it was easier, faster, or both.
Alcohol was probably discovered by accident when someone was hungry enough to eat the part of a fruit that wasn't rotten and got a little buzz.
Cooked meat was probably discovered when some animal got burned in a fire and someone tasted the meat and thought yum yum.
Gobeki Tepe, Karahan Tepe, and many other sites point to older civilizations, and that may just be the tip of the Iceberg, the Pyramids seem older than they state.
