If I had to estimate...... I bet we're looking at close to 40,000 attributable deaths.

Those mountains were home to many people who didn't have an address. Delay in rescue operations. No communication between communities. Very bad.

I could not find the morgue info and or the frozen body truck info but there's more info out there. I bet you are correct.
