The retired FDNY chiefs were indicted along with Adams. I wonder if Adams was funnelling money into the chiefs private bank accounts and then getting a payback. Something is fishy because these three guys were the only ones indicted. Indictments only come due to graft, murder, or suspicion of bad deeds. These guys were dirty and somehow a NY grand jury decided to drop the hammer on them. Didn't the chiefs have inside knowledge of how to get out of jail, free? I wonder why they didn't hide their corruption any better than to allow a grand jury to see all their bad deeds? Are these people THAT stupid or do they just not know how to hide their misdeeds? Plus, they are white guys. Wouldn't that alone give them a leg up on being a better thief? Oh, the humanity!!!
