As the title states. Thank you everyone who offered prayers, info, and advice regarding my (lurking) mother's cancer diagnosis. Thank you from both my mother and me. You guys are the best.

I'm up in the Florida panhandle, so I seem to be out of Milton's path, but I wanted to let my Frogs in the peninsula know that I have been praying for your safety and safe return for those of you who have evacuated. I've also been praying that this storm weakens even more than predicted and that it is not the catastrophe that the Weather Channel and MSM are predicting it to be. I pray that not only does the storm weaken, but the MSM doesn't get their breathless shots of storm damage that they've been hoping for over the past week while Milton got kicking in the Gulf of Mexico. That is a serious prayer, because I want this grip of fear they have over us to keep breaking apart and for people to realize that they need to be vigilant, but at the end of the day, it is God and our communities that take care of us, not the "news" and the government. I also pray for the recovery of the communities affected by Helene, and that God sends them peace and comfort because it's devastating to hear what is happening there.

Y'all stay safe, and if you make the news, make it in the most Florida Man fashion possible. :D
