I think a lot of the "God's chosen people" stuff is Zionist influenced theology that ignores the Bible.
Notice what God says in Exodus 19:5 - "Now **if ** you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, you will be My treasured possession out of all the nations— for the whole earth is Mine."
They did not do the "if".
But Jesus did the "if" for us, so the promises are yes for everyone who believe in him.
"For as many as the promises of God are, in Him they are yes; therefore through Him also is our Amen to the glory of God through us." 2 Cor 1:20
