Patents are legal documents that protect intellectual property, and they can be filed for concepts, ideas, or designs that have not yet been physically built or implemented.

Wow that's a long list, goes back to 1891 up to last year. Over a hundred years of patents, oh yeah they're definitely not researching weather control. I mean the idea of controlling the most destructive force on the planet that doesn't make the land unlivable is totally bonkers.
