This fictional storm is based on the 2012 storm named Nadine which had an erratic path, but was the fourth longest named storm on record in the Atlantic basin. The path for this possible storm would be even more erratic. The storm apparently made landfall in Central America followed by going into the Caribbean and affecting Cuba and the Bahamas before final landfall in the Florida Keys.
There are various problems with this storm's path because Nadine would have to be renamed as a Eastern Pacific storm once crossing Central America, if it survives since mountains exist in that region. Also, if the storm heads west, makes landfall in Central America, the next body of water in the Atlantic basin would be the Gulf of Mexico. Finally, the Bahamas is northeast of the Florida Keys and would be protected by that landmass called Florida until landfall in the Florida Keys. The Bahamas would be affected as Nadine went out to sea.
