Northern IN. My daughter saw a meteor/shooting star last week before the aurora's. It didn't land anywhere local

Shooting stars are extremely common.

Sometimes you see 1-3 of them every minute the entire night.

One of these strong meteor displays is coming up... It's called a meteor shower.
