IMHO I guess the damage done by all of the chemical fires and accidents recently isn't enough to propel us to the 15 minute cities now they want to expedite it with nuclear. There will be accidents especially with so many.

I think it's more because of AI. AI requires an insane amount of electricity in order to operate it. These companies are doing all they can to get cheap electricity to power their AI's.
