Yeah I am —71 years old but totally lucid, cool! Bitchen! And ultra Groovy— plus I grew up in New Orleans— a super groovy place ( my best friend and I would ride the bus from the suburbs into the French Quarter and pretend to be hippies and we’d beg money from the Texas and other tourists — was so much fun in the late 60’s-early 70’s! Had a pen pal of an Army P1 or 2 who did radio repair in nam jungles — I was16 he was 17 — I had boxes of daily letters from this poor kid — everyday was horrible— today’s kids don’t have a clue what it’s like to be “drafted “ to join the Army and stuff ( had to add a little Alice’s Restaurant stuff-/ if you don’t know look it up) I , because of my age , know a lot of Vietnam veterans— most are marines, a few Air Force- and a couple of us army snipers- we’re all old now and are wondering why !!?
