Sounds fantastic. But then there's the matter of still having to get it by Congress first.
I'm starting to become concerned about all these incredible things that President Trump is promising (or implying, at least). It's not that I disagree with them, I just don't see any legal way of getting it done.
People act like they've forgotten how the government is run and that we aren't electing a dictator, no matter what the liberals are saying.
Even if we flipped the House red, and kept the Senate, there are still a load of RINOs waiting to sabotage anything President Trump tries to do.
What's going to happen when he gets back in office and isn't able to fulfill those promises? Why is he behaving like a stereotypical politician, making promises he knows (or should know) he won't be able to keep?
And before people start throwing "shill!!" and "glowie" and "doomer" around, rest assured that I'm not doubting who I'll be voting for next month.
I just think we need to be realistic about this stuff and not get carried away fantasizing about how great it's going to be to not pay taxes.
I'm also concerned with how many people here act like they have no idea how legislation is passed, and seem to think President Trump has a pretty, sparkling magic wand that he can just wave around and :poof: no more taxes!
I think they will have a way to show any stolen election for anyone. The ground game is tremendous on our side this time. Laura Trump said (the other day), "we have eyes on everything" If they can't cheat, maybe we finally get that red wave up and down the ticket.
That suggests that President Trump's team didn't have their eyes on everything in the 2018 midterm, the 2020 election, and the 2022 midterm. Were they just incompetent?
I would love for that to happen. But I haven't seen anything to suggest that will happen, especially nationwide.
Not only that, but I'm not seeing any noticeable change in people's politics where I live, and amongst my friends and family. None. I wish I were, but I'm not.
And I'm not seeing it here, either. Every once in a while, someone will post something about how a friend or family member of theirs has seen the light. And that's a great thing. But it's not quite the huge red wave that will be needed to make a difference.
I'm also noticing that there is only a fraction of the activity here than there was a couple of years ago. While obviously not all Trump supporters are supporters of Q, you would think that there would be enough of an overlap that we would see newcomers here frequently, wanting to learn more about it. Especially since Trump is regularly communicating about Q during his rallies and on his social accounts, in various ways.
And even if there is a red wave and we hit the trifecta (House, Senate, and Presidency), that doesn't do anything about the RINOs already in office who aren't up for re-election, and doesn't mean that any new ones being elected won't be RINOs themselves.
What makes you think they didn't have eyes on these things? Maybe this is the way it had to be. In the reporting I see the ground games is what they have really beefed up. I think there are so many groups everywhere active in working toward the win.
I'm not saying that they don't have eyes on this election. I'm pointing out that they obviously had eyes on their other elections, and yet there was still rampant cheating.
So, having eyes on it isn't a guarantee there won't be cheating this time around as well.
And yes, I'm familiar with the "It Had To Be This Way" line. I'm wondering if that's what people will be saying 6 or so months from now if 2020 happens all over again.
What groups are you talking about that you believe will make a difference this time around?
Do you think Republicans just didn't have their people working the polls in 2020? Or 2018? Or 2022?
